A good day

Out and about
Originally uploaded by Bardic Lug.
Went to Stanley Park today with Jill, a friend of mine who was in town from Florida. We ended up going to the Aquarium and taking a very nice walk along the seawall to the Totem Poles and around Brockton Point.

Jill enjoyed herself I think, Zoë had a fantastic time, and Amanda and I both commented that today was a very good day. It helps bring the stress of the last few weeks into perspective.

Life is good.

Oh, I definitely had fun :) It was great to meet you *finally* and I just love Zoe and Amanda :) Getting to see a little of the local sites while I was there in the whirlwind 24 hour tour was great and as I said yesterday, I'll go to an aquarium *any* day :)

The drive back down to Seattle was quite smooth and I spent the time until the sunset looking at the mountains in the distance -- So, as you go from Canada to the US, what's the huge snow covered mountain you see in the distance (appears to be on the left hand side as you drive south)? If anything, I've realized that my geographical knowledge of the wrong coast is woefully small.

What time were you at Stanley Park? We were there today, for a few minutes, on a tour after we got off our ship...en route to the airport...

You look great and Zoe is, of course, more adorable every day. Unbelievably good looks that kid has! 'Course, look at her parents!! No wonder!

Hugs. Glad to hear life is good. Mine is good too. We're settled into our "camp" house (which overlooks Lake Champlain) for a month. It's nice to be here, the view does NOT suck. :-)
